Welcome
Welcome to the Campus Computing Center (CCC) at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park. The CCC is assigned to the Business, Mathematics and Technology Division, headed by Bonita Campbell, associate dean. This facility is available to currently enrolled St. Louis Community College (STLCC) students, STLCC alumni, faculty and staff. We are committed to providing assistance to the students and faculty using the computing equipment and software within our facility. The Information Systems Department chaired by Dianne M. Lee, welcomes you.
The Campus Computing Center is located on the third floor of D tower on the Forest Park campus. Upon entering the CCC, students and alumni must present their STLCC OneCard to the student assistant on duty within the lab. Any portable media used to save files must also be presented for virus scanning. First-time users will read and sign the STLCC Computer Systems and Network Use Policy.
Staff and faculty must present their STLCC staff identification card with their picture.
The computers currently have Windows XP installed and are running on a Microsoft Windows network. Several computers within the CCC are running Vista to introduce students to the latest Microsoft operating system.
Using the latest state-of-the-art hardware and software (Office 2007 Professional including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint; various programming languages and many Internet applications), you can perform almost any task that requires a computer. The latest Internet browsers are used, along with the processor speed and enough memory to do the job.
