Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Thank you for your interest in the Cisco Networking Academy program. There is no special admissions process to start the first class towards your CCNA, but you must meet the general admissions requirements of St. Louis Community College. Your first step on the road to taking any class is to fill out a general admissions application. Go to www.stlcc.edu and click on "Applying is easy!".

There are four Cisco Networking Academy classes required to achieve Cisco Certified Network Associate. Each Cisco sequence is 5 credit hours for a total of 20 credit hours and must be taken sequentially. Click Here For Cost

Prerequisites for Cisco Networking Academy I:

There are no prerequisites for the Cisco Networking Academy I class; however, it is assumed applicants have basic computer literacy, familiarity with the web, college-level reading ability, and proficiency in basic mathematics. No prior knowledge of networking is required. Upon completion of the four-part Cisco Academy sequence, you are eligible to take the Cisco Certified Associate exam administered by Cisco through Pearson Vue. You must pass this exam to receive your Cisco Certified Network Associate status. The exam fee is around $120.00. Certification is valid for 3 years.

Cisco classes are first-come, first-served. You must be admitted to the college before you can register for classes. You will find the schedule of Cisco courses by going back to the top of this page and clicking on the CCNA Classes link under Cisco Options.
The classes are also listed individually by course number
at the St. Louis Community College's official website www.stlcc.edu (click on Registration and Information, and then on Class Schedule).
